The Kenya School of Law (KSL) has extended the application deadline for the 2026/2027 Advocates Training Programme (ATP).
In an update on Friday, December 5, KSL said the new deadline will be on Friday, December 19, 2025.
“We are pleased to announce that the application window for the Advocates Training Programme (ATP) – 2026/2027 Academic Year has been extended. New Deadline: Friday, 19th December 2025,” read the statement in part.
KSL also noted that the application criteria remain the same as previously announced.
“All applications must be submitted online through the portal. The application criteria remains the same as previously shared,” KSL added.

The institution opened applications for the 2026/2027 academic year ATP on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
In a notice, KSL CEO Henry Mutai invited qualified candidates to apply for admission into the programme.
The KSL CEO also announced that the 2026 ATP classes will officially begin on February 9, 2026.
“The Kenya School of Law invites applications for admission to its programmes for the 2026 Academic Year.
"Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply as outlined below: Advocates Training Programme (ATP) – 2026/2027 Academic Year - Applications are open for the ATP beginning 9th February 2026. The deadline for submission of applications is 31st October 2025,” read the notice in part.
Applicants for the programme are required to have attained a minimum of grade B plain in English Language or Kiswahili and a mean grade of C plus in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
They should have also attained a minimum of 2 principals and 1subsidiary, totalling to an aggregate of 10 points in the Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education or its equivalent, and passed the mandatory 16 core subjects as stipulated in the Second Schedule to the Legal Education Act, Cap. 16 B.
Further, the applicants should also hold or be eligible for conferment of an LL. B degree from a recognized Kenyan university.
To apply to join KSL, applicants are required to submit their applications through the online application portal available on the School website www.ksl.ac.ke.
The applicants must upload a copy of the LL.B. degree certificate or proof of eligibility for conferment, copies of academic transcripts for the 4 academic years, a copy of secondary school certificate, a copy of national identity card or valid passport, a passport-size colour photograph and proof of payment of the application fee.
The application fee of Ksh2,000 should be deposited at the KSL Cooperative bank account Number 01129706350500 at any other co-operative bank countrywide.
