Fatal Shooting
Elsewhere, a police officer shot and killed a man when he came to the rescue of his younger sister who was being assaulted by the said officer.
According to reports, four police officers stormed Evelyn Onziere's home, the victim's mother, in search of documents authorizing their Wines and Spirits business.
During the raid, Nicholaus Lifede's sister recorded the incident but when one of the officers saw her he assaulted the girl.
"When he arrived, he went to the officer and asked him why he was hitting the girl and taking her phone. The policeman then hit him so hard that he fell to the ground. He then took him outside the gate and shot him," Lifede's mother said.
Lifede succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the ICU for two days.
