Individual candidate results can be accessed by sending a candidate’s index number followed by the initials KCPE through a Short Message Service (SMS) to 20076.
According to the Ministry of Education, this service will be available immediately after CS Magoha releases the results.
1,179,182 million candidates sat for the exams in 28,460 examination centres countywide. 2,543 candidates who registered for KCPE did not sit the exams. 590,450 (50.07%) of the candidates were boys & 588,742 (49.93%) were girls.
All candidates who sat their KCPE exams will be admitted in Form 1, according to CS Magoha.
He further noted the Isiolo, Vihiga, Meru, Nairobi, Bungoma, Migori among 18 counties that registered more female candidates than their male counterparts.
