Democracy for the Citizen Party (DCP)Leader Rigathi Gachagua has claimed to have a fresh dossier on a three-man plan to manipulate the 2027 General Election.
Speaking in Wamunyoro on Monday, August 24, Gachagua claimed that the plan involved President William Ruto and Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Ali Joho.
The third individual named by Gachagua is the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Vice Chairperson Fahima Abdallah.
Gachagua claimed that the plan involved the purchasing of a new system to be used by IEBC in the upcoming general election.
"Ruto, Joho and the IEBC Vice Chair want to bring a system which will be used to rig the elections," he stated.

The former Deputy President said he got the intel from classified sources and promised to share full details of the plan before he leaves the country for the United States of America (USA) on Wednesday.
"There is only a little bit of detail left. You know I don't like disclosing information until I have everything.
"I am not the kind of person who gives the President information that I have received, especially if it will help Kenyans," he reiterated.
Gachagua's claims come amid a sustained push by the United Opposition for IEBC to get rid of the Smartmatic System, which was used in previous elections.
The Commission made it clear that it would consult all stakeholders on matters related to elections, including the system which will be used in 2027.
Earlier, the ex-DP had alleged a plot between President Ruto and IEBC Chairperson Erastus Ethekon to postpone the polls scheduled for August 10, 2027.
He claimed that the state was to facilitate goons to create a hostile environment, which would then force the Commission to postpone the election.
Gachagua added that once the country was declared 'politically unstable ', the President would declare a state of emergency and extend his term in office by two years.
