Sifuna gave the date of the Nairobi Tour, but did not share the itinerary.
Linda Mwananchi has confirmed plans to hold a popularisation tour in Nairobi City County.
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna confirmed that the faction would hold its much-anticipated Nairobi Tour on Sunday, September 13.
Sifuna shared a poster of the tour on his official social media handles on Wednesday, September 2, with the caption, 'Back to base'.
The poster also had the faction's Paybill Number, where Kenyans and well-wishers who intend to support the campaign tour can make their donations. Unlike other announcements, this one lacked the tour's itinerary.
Politician Pauline Njoroge reshared the poster with the caption, 'Nai ni home! Na Tunakuja' (Nairobi is home and we are coming).

A section of Kenyans who support Linda Mwananchi celebrated the announcement. One supporter reckoned that the tour would pull in very large crowds.
"This is going to be absolutely electric. The crowds, the energy, the moment. Historic. One for the books," Tim Wafula commented.
The rally is scheduled to take place just two weeks after Sifuna and his team toured Meru County. Former Governor Kawira Mwangaza and her husband Murega Baichu hosted the entourage for their maiden Mount Kenya East rally.
Although the tour was largely peaceful, with stops in Buuri, Mkunu and Makutano. However, a scuffle ensued when a teargas canister was lobbed from within the crowd.
During the rally, leaders affiliated with Linda Mwananchi publicly endorsed him to run for the presidency just days after Siaya Governor publicly declared his bid to unseat President William Ruto.
Orengo reckoned that if the Luo Nyanza region supported Ruto because no leader from the community had shown interest in the top seat, then he had offered himself to be a presidential candidate.
