Several KTN Journalists have quit the station since the year began.

KTN Business News Anchor and reporter Brenda Kerubo has called it quits.

Kerubo on Wednesday, July 13 announced that he will be anchoring his bulletin on the said date.

Her exit comes after staying in the media company for 3 years and 7 months.

Brenda says her stay in KTN News has seen her grow her career tremendously to greater levels

"3 years and 7 months.......how time flies...today l will anchor my last bulletin at 9:30 am on KTN news....a place l consider home because of the people. A place where my career rose to a level l would never have imagined. I knew from a young age television is for me but to achieve everything that l have in the last 10 years of broadcast journalism, nope....so much more," she said in a Facebook post.

She revealed that she has gotten a new opportunity though she could not divulge details.

Brenda has pledged to share details of where she is heading to in the near future.

"Today l sign off and say goodbye. Here is to new opportunities that l will share really soon. Thank you for watching and supporting my stories and programs, forever grateful. May God bless you all," she added.

Brenda is one of the many journalists who has quit the Mombasa road-based station in recent months.

A number of KTN journalists have been poached by NTV Kenya with the latest being Nakuru correspondent Ibrahim Karanja.

Others poached are Brian Obuya, Lofti Matambo, Ben Kitili among others.
