Ruto agreed with Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who claimed that his determination to launch development projects in Kenya is God-sent.

On Saturday, September 26, President William Ruto agreed with Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who claimed that his determination to launch development projects in Kenya just before the election was God's work.

Speaking in Taita Teveta County, Ruto agreed that his building roads, including the one passing through Kalonzo's Tseikuru home, was God's work, but so are other projects he has started across the country.

He stated that the sentiments by the Wiper Leader, which were meant to tease him, ended up being a testimonial that he was indeed delivering his promises to Kenyans. 

"The other day, I saw my friend, Mr 40 Years, claiming that God is using me to quickly build the road heading towards his home, which is true. But I am not only building the road to Tseikuru.

"God is great, because as he helps me deliver the work, he also uses Kalonzo to speak the truth - that development projects are ongoing," Ruto teased.

The President laid the foundation stone at Wumingu Technical and Vocational College. He also committed Ksh10 million to three different schools in Wundanyi. He insisted that leaders should be judged by their track record, not slogans.

Earlier, Kalonzo claimed that Ruto was rushing to complete several projects across the country, in a bid to win over voters ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

He teased that the Tseikuru Road preparation was part of God's plan for the next Commander in Chief.

"God is using Ruto in a very special way because his recent zeal to build roads is heaven-sent. By the time we return home after winning the Presidency in 2027, the road will be done," Kalonzo reiterated.

President Ruto is currently on a tour of the Coastal Region. State House said he will also issue 200,000 title deeds across the six counties as part of his administration’s broader efforts to resolve historical and administrative land challenges

He will also commission new projects and inspect the progress of existing ones, and engage residents and local leaders on development priorities.
