TUK has extended the deadline for students to sign the nominal roll after thousands of students failed to complete the registration process by the initial deadline.

The Technical University of Kenya (TUK) has extended the deadline for students to sign the nominal roll after thousands of students failed to complete the registration process by the initial deadline.

In a statement on Wednesday, September 30, the university reminded students that registration is tied to its fees payment policy, which requires students to complete the process within the stipulated period.

"In accordance with the University Fees Payment Policy, available on every student’s portal, all students are required to complete registration within the first three weeks of the semester," the statement read.

TUK said the extension followed requests from students and parents who sought additional time to align fee payments with salary disbursement dates.

The Vice-Chancellor subsequently approved a final extension, moving the deadline to Sunday, October 4.
