"Everybody knew what I said is true because you do not shoot the messenger; you deal with the message."
The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Leader has accused President William Ruto of taking out his frustrations on him after the Head of State called him a fool and a madman.
Speaking on Saturday, October 3, Gachagua said Ruto called him names because he foiled his plan to exploit minerals on Murima Hill without following the required legal process.
He added that after he exposed the plan, the American investors who were to mine the niobium pulled out of the deal, which made the President bitter toward him.

"Everybody knew what I said is true because you do not shoot the messenger; you deal with the message," the DCP Leader reiterated.
Gachagua said Ruto would be a victim of his own unsolicited advice to Kenyans, where he warned them against electing a fool to be the President.
"There is something he said the other day, that Kenyans will make a very big mistake to elect a fool as President. Kenyans are saying that they have already made a mistake and they will not repeat it" he noted.
The former Deputy President sensationally claimed that if anyone was a fool between him and his former boss, then it's the latter.
He claimed that he outsmarted Ruto in the Ol Kalou by-elections, which he reckoned was a face-off between him and the President, who splashed billions, only to lose the poll to him and his new party.
"The Ol Kalou by-election was between Riggy G and Kasongo. 20,000 people were at work to vote for his candidate after spending Ksh16 billion, yet when the votes were counted, he had 5,000 while I had 35,000. Between these two characters, who is a fool?" Gachagua posed.
Earlier, Gachagua accused the Commander in Chief of planting several moles to divide, confuse and fragment the United Opposition. However, he claimed that he was always one step ahead and identified them before they succeeded .
