Gachagua hosted Kalonzo Musyoka and several leaders of the Wiper Party at his Wamunyoro home.

On Monday, October 26, the Democracy for the Citizens Party (Leader), Rigathi Gachagua, hosted Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka at his Wamunyoro home.

Gachagua and his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, welcomed his 'cousin' and a delegation of Wiper Leaders at his home, where the two principals discussed the unity of the Opposition.

Kalonzo's entourage included the three governors from the Ukambani Region; Wavinya Ndeti of Machakos, Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo and Kitui County Chief Julius Malombe.

"Welcome to Wamunyoro, my cousin Kalonzo Musyoka. Unity of purpose is vital! When we come together, great things must happen," Gachagua said.

On his part, Kalonzo captioned the photos stating, "We have reached Wamunyoro."

Some of the DCP-affiliated attendees were Nyandarua Governor Kiarie Badilisha, Nyandarua Senator John Methu, Kiambu Senator Karungo Wa Thang'wah, Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia and EALA MP Kanini Kega.

The Wiper and DCP Leaders had a joint conversation as a group before Kalonzo and the former Deputy President held private talks.

Earlier, Gachagua held a meeting with Senator Methu, DCP's Secretary General designate, and was briefed on the party activities during the two months he was away in the United States of America.

"This morning, I briefed our party leader on the progress of our party after his two-month visit to the United States. We thank the people of Kenya who have joined our party and the droves of aspirants seeking elective positions in different parts of the Republic," Methu wrote.

The meeting came days after Gachagua hosted Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and the Linda Mwananchi team at his home on Mashujaa Day.

The ex-DP said that he and Sifuna held a candid and constructive discussion on the liberation of our country and the formation of the Sixth Administration.

He claimed that Wamunyoro has long been a venue for consequential political consultations and deliberations that have helped shape a brighter future for our great country.
