A twitter user took it upon themselves to explain why the President felt at ease with the photo.
He was reminded that the President and the health workers are considered essential workers to whom the curfew restrictions do not apply.
Another Kenyan also claimed that the health workers and the Head of State could be fully vaccinated and were not at risk of contracting COVID19.
On the night of Tuesday 6th July, President Uhuru Kenyatta commissioned five new hospitals in the city suburbs.
The official opening of the hospitals was done at night to reduce the chances of crowding which would have violated COVID19 containment protocol.
The 24 -hour hospitals were constructed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services with 19 more to be opened soon.
President Uhuru opened Level 2 hospitals in Gichagi, Kangemi and Gatina, Kawangware and level 3 hospitals in Tassia Kwa Ndege, Mukuru Kwa Reuben and Mukuru Kwa Njenga.
