Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday joined President Uhuru Kenyatta and a host of other leaders in his tour of Ukambani.
The move comes despite the fallout between Odinga and Kalonzo that has played out in public, and on different occasions.
A few days ago, Kalonzo said that he will be the most stupid person to support the ODM leader’s third bid at the presidency, insisting that he would rather retire.
"It will be unthinkable to support Mr. Odinga for the third time. I will be the most stupid person to once again support his bid without a measure of reciprocity," Kalonzo stated.
He, however, added that he was open to working with all.
On Thursday, reports said that Odinga and Kalonzo were set to meet to discuss the political parties' sharing between the NASA constituent parties.

The Wiper leader denied that 2022 politics was part of the agenda saying its time will come.
"I don't intend to discuss 2022 politics at this stage. The time for it is coming very soon because we don't have time," Kalonzo said.
President Uhuru Kenyatta kicked off the first leg of his long-awaited tour of Ukambani region in Makueni where he inspected the ongoing construction of the 688 million cubic metres Thwake Dam which is part of his government's Big 4 agenda.
The Head of State was received by Ukambani leaders led by Kalonzo Musyoka, Governors’ Kivutha Kibwana, Alfred Mutua and Charity Ngilu among other state officials.
The event was closed to the public.
