The Higher Loans Education Board (HELB) has made an important announcement to university and college students, indicating that four of its products are available for application.
In a statement on Tuesday, HELB announced that students meeting the set requirements can apply for; Undergraduate first-time student loans, Undergraduate second and subsequent loans, TVET first-time student loans, and lastly TVET second and subsequent students’ loans.
For Undergraduate first-time student loans and TVET first-time student loans, the closing date is December 31, 2021. The application can be done through the HELB student portal.
For those applying for the Undergraduate second and subsequent loans, the deadline is 30th October 2021. The application can be done on the HELB app or via USSD code *642#.
Lastly, those applying for TVET second and subsequent students loans have until December 31, 2021 to submit their applications. The application can be done on the HELB app or via USSD code *642#.
