2022 Presidential hopeful Dr Mukhisa Kituyi has for the first time publicly responded to queries regarding a leaked viral video allegedly showing him in a compromising situation.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Tuesday night, Dr. Kituyi brushed off the video, noting that he is a man of personal integrity and should be judged based on his track record and plan for the country.
He further noted that he won’t address the video arguing that giving a statement on the same will amount to lowering his standards, and the value of the debate regarding his 2022 presidential ambitions.
On reports that he had previously blamed his political opponents for the video, Dr Kituyi noted that he has never issued a statement or addressed the alleged video with any individual.
