Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has invited Jubilee Leaders who feel threatened by the ongoing coalition talks between the ruling party and ODM to join his Chama Cha Kazi party.

In a statement on Friday, Kuria noted that Chama Cha Kazi is ready and willing to accommodate the leaders heading into 2022.

“To all Jubilee leaders whose political careers are threatened by the imminent merger of Jubilee and ODM, here is your new home. Run! Run! Run!” Kuria posted.

Moses Kuria recently unveiled his Chama Cha Kazi party and is keen to build a loyal support base for the outfit heading into 2022.

A week ago, Kuria together with former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri of The Service Party (TSP) and Narc-Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua, announced that they will be working towards consolidating the Mount Kenya voting block and ensuring the region speaks in one voice heading into 2022.

Meanwhile, pre-coalition talks between ODM and Jubilee are ongoing, with reports indicating that an agreement could be arrived at soon.

Early this week, Jubilee Party’s National Management Committee (NMC) met and approved the coalition talks with ODM. The NMC is the highest ranked organ of the party, therefore its approval means that it is just a matter of time before the two parties make an announcement on the nature of their engagement.
