ODM Leader Raila Odinga has sent a warm Birthday message to his wife Mama Ida Odinga as she turns a year older.
In a post on his social media pages, Odinga who is currently in Zambia shared a TBT photo of Mama Ida and captioned it “Cha cha cha NyarOlwande; Happy birthday my dear Ida Odinga.”
Born on August 24, 1950, Mama Ida Odinga has today turned 71 years old.
Raila’s ODM party celebrated Mama Ida Odinga terming her “a mother full of grace”.
“Cheers to our mother who is full of grace, love, and compassion. Happy Birthday Mama @IdaOdinga the Orange party is proud of you,” ODM tweeted.

Last year, she hosted a private ceremony at her Karen home as she celebrated turning 70 years old.
The ceremony was attended by top leaders from across the country including; Homa Bay Wamna Rep Gladys Wanga, Kirrinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Jubilee Party vice chairman David Murathe, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth, Kirinyaga, her brother-in-law EALA MP Dr Oburu Oginga and Wajir MP Fatuma Gedi among others.
Mama Ida and Raila have been married for the last 37 years. On 1st September 2021, they will be celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary.
