Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has weighed in on the ongoing Building Bridges Initiative report launch at the Bomas of Kenya, claiming that the speakers have been trained to attack Deputy President William Ruto.
In a tweet, Murkomen claimed that allies of the deputy president were not invited because they hold contrary opinion to that of the BBI proponents.
“All the Speakers have been coached and rehearsed to attack only one man, the Deputy President in a Building Bridges Initiative. What a paradox! Does he occupy their thoughts that much? No wonder they refused to invite anyone associated with him,” he tweeted.

President Kenyatta is today leading other leaders at the Bomas of Kenya for the official launch of the BBI report.
According to the program, DP Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga are among the distinguished guests who will address the gathering during the launch.
Kenyans are eagerly waiting for the DP’s speech considering the fact that he and his allies have expressed their opposition to the BBI report being spearheaded by President Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.
According to the DP, the BBI process ought to be consultative and focus on the key issues affecting Kenyans and not creating plump positions for political leaders.
