Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has rubbished reports leveled against him by a section of UDA leaders, claiming that he is a deep state mole working on causing division in the Hustler Nation.
Speaking in Kandaru, Murang’a County on Tuesday, Kuria affirmed that he is a firm believer in the Hustler Nation ideology and its leader Deputy President William Ruto, adding that the claims against him should be ignored.
He highlighted his contribution to Hustler Nation, noting that he was instrumental and played key roles in the group’s recent win in the Kiambaa by-election and other victories associated with the DP’s brigade.
“I have been having a party all the way from last year… I had a party way before UDA was formed, that time everybody celebrated my win in Gatwiri here in Murang’a as a Hustler Nation victory, in fact when they parade our wins, they count that as a win… I don’t know when this changed, I don’t know when I became a criminal, I don’t know when I became an outcast for Gachagua to go all over blasting me because I have a party,” he said.
“It is my horror and shock to get the kind condemnation and criticism I’m getting from people within the UDA … I’m a founder member of Hustler Nation, I’m still a believer of William Ruto and I feel like William Ruto has asked me for a date, I should come for the date in the outfit that I prefer, not the outfit that he prefers, if that is a crime, so be it,” he added.

On claims that he is using his party to negotiate for power in 2022, Kuria dismissed the reports noting that he is ready to lose everything just to stand for what he believes in.
“Who wants to bargain for positions? I’m ready to lose everything including my Parliamentary seat to stand with my principle… I’m not stupid or mad to insist on having a party, there is something I know that makes me believe that things I believe in can only be served by me being in another party other than UDA, much as I support William Ruto... I’m happy for them to say please don’t associate with us if it comes to that,” he divulged.
