Former NTV Journalist Joins BBC Days After Quitting

Former NTV Business news anchor Victor Kiprop has joined the British Broadcasting Corporation(BBC) Africa team as Business Journalist days after announcing his departure.
In a statement seen by Nairobileo.co.ke on Monday, November 15, the BBC welcomed both Kiprop and former K24 Anchor Sarah Adam, who left on November 10, to their new roles.
“I am pleased to announce that Victor Kiprop and Sara Adam are today joining the coolest team in the hub as Business Journalists.
“Sara has recently worked with the team as a Freelancer journalist and now joins us substantively. She’s previously worked as a business reporter and presenter at Kenya’s K24 TV.
“On his part, Victor Kiprop joins us from Kenya’s NTV, where he’s been working as a business reporter and presenter. Victor previously worked with CNBC Africa," the email read in part.
The former NTV Business news anchor, Victor Kiprop, announced his departure from the station minutes after giving his final remarks on an episode of Your World show on November 4, 2021.
“This also happens to be my last show here on NTV, yes, you heard me right and I must say it feels like yesterday when I went on air and I have been here for the last 3 years, co-hosting Your world for the last 10 months. This has been a dream come true for me,” He stated.
