The Assets Recovery Agency is after a 21-year-old student with over Ksh100 million in her bank account.
According to the agency, the money could be proceeds of crime and money laundering.
The agency has moved to court seeking orders to freeze the account of Felesta Nyamathira Njoroge that has Sh102,654,024 at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya.
"There are reasonable grounds to suspect the funds held in the account in the name of the respondent, are illicit funds in which the respondent is involved in a money-laundering scheme, designed to conceal and disguise the nature, source location and movement of the funds," the statement read in part.

Responding to the developments, Former Governor Mike Sonko has now pleaded with the agency to let her be claiming the boyfriend could be a billionaire.
"I hear the boyfriend is a bitcoin billionaire so 100million nikama ile 1000 Mimi hutumia watu kama sadaka. Asset Recovery wachaneni na huyu mrembo anakula sweat yake no one has complained....pia nyinyi mpande league yake you start sending 20k kila Month to your spouses," Mike Sonko posted on Facebook.
According to the agency in an affidavit, the Nairobi Technical Training Institute student opened the account for the sole purpose of receiving the funds in four spilt transactions.
