Watamu man, Taimur Kariuki Hussein who went missing after he was arrested by the Anti-Terror Police has returned after five months.
Taimur's sister known as Fauziya confirmed that he returned home on Saturday, November 27th.
He was arrested on June 11, 2021, in Lamu.
In a tweet, his sister narrated that Taimur called their mother at 6 am in the morning and said that he was on his way home.
She went on to say that he was traumatized but safe as she appreciated all who mobilized and supported them as they asked for his whereabouts.

"TAIMUR IS BACK! At around 6a.m. this morning, my brother called my mum and told her he was on his way back to Watamu. My brother is home. Traumatized. But my brother is safe."
"He is resting. Now we debrief. Thank you to everyone who's been through this with us. God is so so good!" Fauziya said.
Taimur disappeared soon after he was released by Kahawa Law Courts.
