Police in Mombasa have arrested a woman accused of drugging then robbing revellers of their belongings.
According to reports, the suspect, Joyce Aluta was nabbed by residents at the Kisimani area in Nyali on the night of Thursday, December 30, 2021.
Witnesses stated that the suspect is notorious for drugging her victims before making away with their phones, wallets, watches, and shoes.

She was exposed for committing the crimes by one Abdalla Abdulrahman.
“The woman who poses as a sex worker has been intoxicating her clients then robbing off their belongings such as mobile phones, watches, shoes and wallets,” he stated.
He further claimed that the suspect would sometimes pose as a prostitute and then lure her victims to their homes before drugging them and robbing them.
She is accused of stealing television sets, computers among other valuables.
Police have since recovered three mobile phones, a hand watch, shoes and money from the suspect.
The suspect is behind bars awaiting arraignment.
