COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli has said the ODM leader Raila Odinga is poised to win the August 9, polls with or without the support of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
The COTU boss, in a response to a tweet by Ahmednasir Abdullahi, said the country should prepare for the Raila presidency even as he told the Lawyer to prepare to shed premium tears.
"I can assure you that you'll be among the few Kenyans who will be at home shedding premium tears come August," Atwoli said.
Atwoli was responding to remarks by the lawyer saying they had held a crisis meeting following Kalonzo's declaration that he will be on the ballot.

"I knew a crisis meeting was on the cards once Hon Kalonzo Musyoka openly declared he will not play second fiddle to a second fiddle! The numbers for Hon Raila just aren't there!" Ahmednasir replied to a tweet by Atwoli who posted a picture of his meeting Raila and his other close allies.
In rejoinder, Atwoli dismissed discussing Kalonzo at their meeting and said they have enough numbers to achieve their mission.
"There was nothing like Kalonzo on our agenda items. Those are wishful thinkers and daydreamers. We have the numbers and all have seen and come to that realization," the COTU boss said.
Atwoli on Sunday held a meeting with the ODM leader and a host of leaders at his Ildamat Kajiado home.
Leaders present were Junet Mohamed, David Murathe, Governor Ndiritu Muriithi, the Right Peter Kenneth, Dr Ongwen, and Senator Orengo James.
Atwoli termed the meeting as Azimio la Umoja consultative lunch meeting.
