The attendance of the DP forced a section of OKA leaders to walk out in protest even before he arrived.

Deputy President William Ruto has arrived at ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi's meeting at the Bomas of Kenya.

Musalia is on Sunday expected to launch his presidential bid.

The attendance of the DP forced a section of OKA leaders to walk out in protest even before he arrived.

Leaders who walked out include KANU party chairman Gideon Moi and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Businessman Jimi Wanjigi also walked out in protest.

The attendance of the DP came even as Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala reiterated that the DP is not invited to the function.

Malala said the DP is their competitor and would therefore not be invited to such a function.

The remarks were also emphasized by a section of leaders from ANC who maintained that the DP is not invited.
