Singer Smith Mwatia, populalry known as Rufftone, has claimed that his brother Daddy Owen, also a singer, tried to attack him over his political stand.
Speaking to NTV on Tuesday, the Singer said the two disagreed in the year 2007 leading to a dramatic incident where he was chased with a machete by his brother.
Rufftone says he was supporting PNU in the 2007 elections while his brother was an ODM diehard.
According to him, they disagreed because of their political differences.

"In 2007, I remember very badly my blood brother Daddy Owen was for ODM and I was for PNU and when we disagreed in the morning, Daddy Owen had to run out to the streets with his friends na mapanga targeting me," he said.
He made the remarks to ostensibly substantiate his claims that the ODM supporters are unruly.
Rufftone is eyeing the Nairobi Senatorial race in the August 9, elections.
He supports deputy president William Ruto for the top seat and is also a member of the UDA party.
He is among a list of many celebrities who are eyeing elective positions.
Others who will be vying in Nairobi include comedian-cum-radio presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o. He is seeking Lang'ata parliamentary seat.
