The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has issued a statement on the issue of power sharing.
According to the party, it is focused on uplifting the lives and living standards of Kenyans and not sharing government positions.
The orange party insisted that it will strive to make Kenya a great country, promising to deliver if elected into office on August 9th 2022.
“We are not about POSITIONS. We are about UPLIFTING the Living Standards of the people of Kenya. We shall DELIVER, we shall DO IT, we shall MAKE KENYA BIG #AzimioMtaaniMuranga,” said ODM.
ODM was reacting to report by a local daily which had outline how Deputy President William and his new allies Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula will share power if elected into office in August.
Here is how Kenyans reacted;
@jeff_odiedo ODM is now a shadow of its former self. Nothing to brag about. Just watching their competitor UDA and cheering it on. Bure kabisa!
@Chosen_Konrad You can't dwell on the rumours of your enemy when you don't have a plan on how to defeat them...you can't fight rhetoric with rhetoric no, you counter with a solid plan. Do things differently
@k3n_Enock You remind us of BBI
@Morgan_ke1 This is propaganda, only on Moi-owned Newspaper that such misleading information can be published. Stop stooping so low!
@Robert_Njangiru Those are the Running Mates that you will never have. Add Martha Karua, Gedion, Waiguru, Muturi, Jimmy and Kalonzo on the list and see what remaining.
@Dystopian2022 Dishing lies and fake cash promises in equal measure. If Kenyans make this mistake, they'll live to remember President Uhuru.
@DanKipchirchir The push that the party put into the Political Parties Amendment Bill (2022) is enough proof that the main agenda was POSITIONS for the wadosi
@kiprsigei Hii ni handwriting ya Sifuna. Copy pasting.
@NEDDIENYAKE We never spent 20billion trying to change the constitution to create positions for a few. We share what is within the constitution.
