Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is set to hold a major rally at Thika Stadium on Saturday, February 19.
The rally has been couched as his homecoming following months of treatment at a Dubai hospital following a third-degree burn he sustained on his feet.
Nairobi Leo has established that the MP is set to jet into the country on Saturday morning and proceed to Thika Stadium where the rally will be held.
The MP is expected to make a major political announcement on his direction after announcing that he won't vie for the Gatundu South seat again.
The MP has confirmed that he has invited all the political bigwigs in the country to the function.
Among those invited are Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
"I have invited everybody. I have invited all the presidential candidates. My duty is to invite, their duty is to attend. I cannot tell you who is going to attend and who is not going to," he said.
The move sets the stage for a major duel in the event the two leading presidential candidates turn up for the function.
On Wednesday, in an interview with Citizen TV, Kuria revealed that he had not taken sides on his political future.
He said he needed time to dissect the agenda of the two major coalitions before making up his mind on which way to go.
Kuria also expressed his wonder about how the DP formed an alliance with ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula when he ignored them earlier.
The MP said his party is keen on popularizing itself saying they are weighing their options before deciding which way to go.
