“I will be vying for senator Nakuru County under a UDA ticket because that is what the ground says.

“I’ve talked to everyone. I even talked to Baba, he told me to wait up to February, but the ground has not changed. I also talked to my best friend lawyer Orengo, showed him the numbers and he told me it’s a bit hard with those numbers, but we were still to wait and see… Nakuru is a UDA zone because it is in Rift Valley,” she said.

Tabitha revealed that she decided to join politics after members of the public asked her to represent them on a legislative capacity.

“I did not think I would switch from business to politics. I thought maybe one day I’ll leave office to work with Keroche foundation, but politics no… I was pushed by people…I believe when I’m in Parliament, I will be able to represent other businesspeople and ensure the laws are favourable,” she said.

Tabitha was welcomed to UDA by Deputy President William Ruto during a Kenya Kwanza Rally at the ASK Grounds in Nakuru.
