Sakaja enjoys the support of 25 per cent of Nairobians. ODM party aspirant Tim Wanyonyi comes in second with 14 per cent.

Nairobi Senator Johnson Skaja is the leading Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant in the August 9, polls, research by Tifa poll has said.

According to the Survey, Sakaja enjoys the support of 25 percent of Nairobians. ODM party aspirant Tim Wanyonyi comes in second with 14 percent.

Current governor Anne Kananu has 7 percent support while Richard Ngatia has 6 percent.

Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has 5 percent while Bishop Margaret Wanjiru has a 4 percent support base. Others share 4 percent while undecided are at 12 percent.

Surprisingly, Sakaja remains the most preferred senator with 8 percent support.

ODM leader Raila Odinga's ODM party remains the most popular outfit in Nairobi Followed closely Ruto's UDA party.

23 percent of the respondents supported the ODM party while 22 of them backed UDA.

Azimio La Umoja was supported by 8 percent of the respondents. Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper and Jubilee party both had 2 percent each.

ANC party, Kenya Kwanza and others had one percent each. 4 percent are undecided while 35 percent chose none of the outfits.

Nairobi woman rep Esther Passaris is the most preferred Woman Re. She is followed closely by the Nominated MP Millicent Omanga.
