Deputy President William Ruto has for the first time weighed in on the constant attacks directed at him by Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu.
Speaking at a rally in Kitui on Tuesday, the deputy President questioned residents why Ngilu spends most of her time on Twitter lashing out at him instead of working for her constituents.
He went on to identify a supporter of him from the crowd Identified as Mose who he said will be engaging her on his behalf.
He noted that Mose is her equal on the matter and he will henceforth be engaging her whenever she attacks him.

He added: "Mama Ngilu wacha kuandika sasa mambo ya Twitter kwa William Ruto, nitakupatia account ya Mose mtakuwa mkijibizana".
Kitui Governor has on several occasions used her social media accounts to attack the DP on various issues she deems fit.
Ngilu, who is backing Raila for the Presidency, has been attacking the DP saying he is incompetent to lead Kenya.
Ngilu and Ruto worked together in the Pentagon group of 2007 where they were supporting Raila.
They also worked together in 2013 in the Jubilee coalition where President Uhuru Kenyatta was the coalition flagbearer and Ruto the DP.
She fell out with the two after she was kicked out of government over corruption allegations.
She shifted camps in 2017 and backed Raila for the top seat under the Nasa coalition.
