Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi and Businesswoman Agnes Kagure have held a meeting just hours after reports emerged that Former Equity chief commercial officer Polycarp Igathe will be fronted as Jubilee candidate for Nairobi governor seat.
MP Wanyonyi and Kagure have both expressed interest to vie for the Nairobi governor seats.
The meeting was held at an undisclosed hotel in Nairobi.
The MP is seeking the seat through the ODM ticket while Kagure is eyeing the Jubilee ticket.

Media reports indicated that Wanyonyi will issue a statement on Wednesday regarding new political developments.
Kagure took to her social media handles to reveal they were charting their way forward.
"Catching up with my friend Hon. Tim Wanyonyi for breakfast as we take stock and chart the way forward. Tunazidi kupanga na lazima itapangika. Ama vipi watu wangu?" Kagure posed.
The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance is set to unveil its preferred candidate who will face off with Kenya Kwanza Alliance's candidate Johnstone Sakaja.
This comes even as the Azimio faction faces an uphill task on who to settle on.
Others eyeing the seat include former KNCCI chair Richard Ngatia and Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu. The two are seeking the Jubilee party ticket.
