Deputy President William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza brigade together with a section of Kenya Kwanza allies are expected to storm Kapsabet town Nandi county on Sunday, May 1, (today).
The team led by Ruto's wife Mama Rachel Ruto will be hosted by Nandi County Governor Stephen Sang for a thanksgiving ceremony set to be held at Kapsabet showgrounds on Sunday.
Among other dignified Kenya Kwanza leaders who have been invited include; ANC Party boss Musalia Mudavadi, National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.
According to Sang, today's function will be a ThanksGiving service for all the UDA leaders that were nominated to fly the UDA party's flags in different elective positions in Nandi.
Succession politics are, however, expected to take a center stage during the service which will be led by Mama Rachel Ruto.

This comes at a time when only one MP out of the incumbent four survived the axe to clinch the party's ticket in Nandi. Tinderet Member of Parliament Julius Melly got a nod from his constituents to defend his seat in the August polls on a UDA ticket.
However, three of his colleagues including; Dr. Wilson Kogo (Chesumei), Vincent Tuwei (Mosop), and Cornelli Serem (Aldai) were all sent packing.
Governor Stephen Sang, Senator Samson Cherargei and Cynthia Muge (Woman Representative) were also nominated and have all been handed their UDA nomination certificates.
Among the newcomers who clinched UDA nominations include Marianne Keitany (Aldai constituency), Paul Biego (Chesumei) and Abraham Kirwa of Mosop constituency. Bernard Kitur becomes the latest entry to fly the UDA flag in Nandi Hills after Alfred Keter's nomination was revoked.
All the winners and losers are, however, expected to attend today's thanksgiving ceremony.
