Deputy President Willia, Ruto still remains the leading Presidential candidate in Kenya, a poll by Trends and Insights for Africa has revealed.

In the event elections were to be held today, Kenya will have a repeat presidential election given that the leading candidate has not hit 50 plus one required for one to be declared president.

The poll shows that Ruto is leading with 39 per cent of the votes, just one per cent extra from the past poll conducted by the same firm.

The polls were released on Thursday.

Raila on the other end has improved by 5 per cent and is having 32 per cent.

A difference of 7 per cent. 16 per cent on the other hand are undecided on who to vote for.

12 per cent of the respondents are non-commital.

This comes at a time when Kenyans are staring at less than 100 days to the August 9, polls.
