The vocal lawyer has revealed the only sincere criticism on Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.

City lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has pointed out what he terms the only genuine criticism about the Kenya Kwanza Alliance running mate Rigathi Gachagua.

In a tweet on Sunday, the vocal lawyer claimed that the only sincere criticism one could make about the Mathira MP was concerning his wardrobe and choice of tailors.

However, he said that the concern is easy to fix and will be easily fixed.

“The only genuine criticism one can make about Hon Rigathi Gachagua as Kenya's incoming DP is about his wardrobe and choice of tailors. That is easy to fix and it will be fixed,” Ahmednasir tweeted.

Gachagua has come under heavy criticism from a section of Azimio coalition leaders after he clinched the running mate slot in the Deputy President William Ruto-led political outfit.

Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign Spokesperson Prof. Makau Mutua on Friday, May 20, said that Gachagua and Ruto will not co-exist for long as they will cannibalize each other.

“Two rats can’t live in the same hole. Rigathi Gachagua and William Ruto won’t and can’t — co-exist for long. They will cannibalize each other sooner than later. It’s a marriage made in hell,” Prof. Mutua stated.

Gachagua emerged as Ruto’s preferred running mate candidate after beating Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki who came in second.

Kindiki has since congratulated Gachagua on the role, even as the senator announced that he would be taking a break from politics after the August polls.
