Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has left the country for London as talks on the possibility of reuniting with Azimio La Umoja Coalition stalls.
The visit is private in nature.
The developments come even as speculations mount on his political direction given that he has been blowing hot and cold on his plans.
But in what is emerging as his spirited desire to be on the ballot, Kalonzo’s running mate Andrew Sunkuli on Monday represented him at a meeting where presidential candidates were meeting the IEB chair Wafula Chebukati.
Chebukati is the returning officer of a presidential election.

During the function, Sunkuli revealed that their ticket is on and that he will be on the ballot.
"We are on the ballot that is why we are here to represent my party leader who is out of the country on a private tour," Sunkuli said.
"Everybody is asking us to join them, I think we are an extremely attractive ticket but I want to assure the people of Kenya that we will be asking them for their votes."
At the same time, Wiper party officials are at a meeting in Athi River where deliberations on the possibility of working with Azimio again will be discussed.
The meeting is being held at a hotel in Athi River.
