Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga is expected to present his papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC) today on Sunday, June 5.
The ODM boss is expected to present his nomination papers to the IEBC at the Bomas of Kenya at 10 am on Sunday.
He will be accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua and a number of Azimio la Umoja - One Kenya Alliance leaders.
But with few hours before his big event, Raila has taken the time to express his gratitude to all the leaders that have stood with him in his course to building a "formidable" coalition Azimio la Umoja.
Through his message on Sunday morning, Raila also thanked God and all his supporters saying they form a special pillar of his presidential bid, which he is sure is going to be cleared today.

"As I present my papers to the IEBC to be cleared to run for president of the Republic of Kenya, I can only express deepest of gratitude to the people of Kenya and the leaders with whom we have worked to build this unshakable formation [Azimio]. I thank God for this favour and mercy, for I see his guiding hand in this journey," stated Raila.
Already, the ODM boss has stepped out of his Karen home where he will be joining the faithful at All-Saints Cathedral for a church service from 8 am and later proceed to the Bomas of Kenya for clearance.
Martha Karua has joined Odinga for the prayer service at All Saints Cathedral before heading to Bomas of Kenya.
After clearance, Raila is expected to address the press before proceeding to hold a rally at Undugu grounds in his former Lang’ata constituency.
He will later fly out to Nakuru county where he is expected at Mazembe grounds, Bondeni area at 4 pm for his charm offensive visits to the Rift Valley.
Ekuru Aukot of Thirdway Alliance will, later on, present his papers to the IEBC at 2 pm. George Munyottah (Independent candidate) is also expected at the IEBC at 4 pm
