Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has sensationally claimed that the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party is planning to reject the August 9 general election results.
Addressing Jubilee candidates in Nyeri on Wednesday, June 8, the Ndaragwa MP asserted that the party was preparing for a petition because they knew they would lose in the poll.
According to Kioni, it was why the Deputy President William Ruto-led party wrote to the National Intelligence Service (NIS) over remarks by Interior PS Karanja Kibicho that Raila would win the upcoming election in the first round.
“They are looking for how they are going to challenge the win of Raila Odinga in court. That is why UDA wrote a letter to DPP Haji,” Kioni stated.

The lawmaker, however, alleged that the Azimio presidential candidate would clinch the victory with a big margin that would stun the Ruto camp.
“But the difference between Raila and Ruto will be such that everybody will see that they are wasting their time. It is now upon as Azimio to harvest from those people who have finally realized UDA is nothing other than lies,” Kioni told the Jubilee candidates.
His remarks come barely days after the Deputy President claimed that over one million voters had been removed from the IEBC voter register adding that the majority of them were from his strongholds.
