The Jubilee party has carried out key leadership changes in Nairobi county ahead of governor Mike Sonko’s impeachment.
The party in a Tuesday move has reshuffled the Nairobi County Assembly Service Board.
Board member Mark Ndung’u has been replaced by Charles Thuo while June Nedgwa has replaced Silas Matara in the Speaker’s Panel.
The changes, announced on Tuesday, comes after party Secretary General Raphael Tuju confirmed the suspension of Nairobi Member of County Assemblies Silvia Museiya, Ann Thumbi and Millicent Jagero for allegations of undermining the party.
The three MCAs had on Friday been summoned by a disciplinary committee at the party's headquarters.

Their position on the Nairobi City County Appropriation Bill, 2020 was put into question as they had gone against the party’s directive.
The MCAs are allies of governor Mike Sonko.
The letter communicating the changes was addressed to Speaker Benson Mutura and copied to Majority Whip Paul Kados.
The planned impeachment of Governor Mike Sonko was on Tuesday temporarily stopped by the Labour and Employment court.
On Tuesday, Sonko was expected to defend himself before the county assembly over allegations of gross misconduct.
