ODM Party Aspirant Dies in Hospital

ODM Party Nominee for South Gem ward Mr. Nick Maurice Wanga is dead.

According to reports, Wanga passed away on Saturday morning at Nightingale Hospital in Kisumu where he had been admitted for a week to receive treatment.

The cause of his death is not yet known but preliminary reports indicated that he had body pains before being admitted to the hospital.

Announcing the news, Siaya ODM chairman Oloo Okanda mourned the departed aspirant, saying this had dealt a major blow to the ODM party.

"I tried to reach out to Wanga on Wednesday for an ODM delegates meeting but I could not be able to reach him on phone. I was later informed that he was hospitalized after attending a rally in Gem on Monday. He had complained of body pains. His demise is a big loss to the Orange party.” stated Okanda

Nick has served the ODM party and the people of Gem in various capacities and was just rearing to officially take up the mantle of leadership having been officially nominated by ODM to fly the MCA flag in South Gem.

Wanga's death came just a few days after ODM lost another leader, Madam Lilian Sadieda of North Gem.
