The Ministry of Health has announced 1253 more Covid-19 positive cases from 10,170 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Kenya on Thursday reported the highest number of recoveries in a single day since the pandemic struck the country in March.
CAS Aman said 11,324 have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
"1,253 people have tested positive for the virus, from a sample size of 10,170 961 tested in the last 24 hours, bringing to 86,383 total. The cumulative tests are now 911,596," the Health CAS said.
The country also announced that 16 patients have succumbed to the virus bringing the number of fatalities to 1,500.
