The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has summoned Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria over remarks made on his Facebook page.
Through a statement on social media on Monday, the George Kinoti led directorate asked the lawmaker to report to any nearest police station on DCI office.
The DCI stated that it had been drawn to the sensational post by the MP which insinuated ‘very serious’ allegations in respect to election offences.
“The attention of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has been drawn to a sensational social media post attributed Gatundu South M.P Hon. Moses Kuria, insinuating very serious allegations in respect to election offences," DCI stated.

“The Directorate is urging the legislator to urgently report to any police station or DCI office close to him, to help with investigations for appropriate and immediate action,” DCI added.
In one of his Facebook posts on Monday, the lawmaker alleged that there were 40 trucks carrying marked ballot papers that he claimed were to leave the Nakuru State Lodge.
Kuria alleged that the trucks had GK registration numbers urging the public to stop them.
“Top Alert!! 40 trucks with marked ballot papers will leave State Lodge Nakuru to various destinations in the next 20 minutes. Media, public please stop them. Most of them have GK registration numbers,” Kuria posted on Facebook.
