Even as the KCPE candidates across the country continue with their exams, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday morning gifted a school Sh400,000 for a party after exams.
The DP gave Komarock Primary School in Nairobi the money to facilitate the party.
He gave Sh300,000 for students' bash while the remaining amount of Sh100,000 he said should be for teachers.
" Si nipange bash kidogo? After you are through with your exams, I will give the headteacher Sh300,000 so that after the exams you can come and have a bash. I will give Sh100,000 for the teachers pia washerehekee kidogo," Gachagua said,
He was on an inspection tour of the ongoing Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams when he gave the donation.

He asked the students to be upbeat that they will succeed saying their years of hard work will soon be rewarded.
The DP wished the group good luck as they sit for exams even as he assured them of government support.
We are here to encourage you and wish you well. We want to ask you to be focused, an exam is just an exam and you are on your path to destiny,” Gachagua stated.
Various cabinet members have been dispatched to various parts of the country to oversee the opening of exam containers to ensure transparency.
President William Ruto opened day two exams at Joseph Kangethe primary school in Kibra at 7 am.
Musalia Mudavadi was assigned to Kilimani Primary School in Nairobi.
