The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced an online auction for clothes and other household items.
In a statement dated Monday, March 24, the taxman detailed that the online platform had already been opened for bidding and would run until Wednesday, March 26.
"The auction will run until Wednesday 26, 2025, at 8:55 A.M." KRA announced.
On the online platform, KRA listed and photographed each item under sale including the starting bid.
For instance, an Arsenal football shirt was put at Ksh661 while cotton shirts were put on sale at Ksh2,204.

Among the food items listed for auction was champagne and chocolate which was put on sale at Ksh6,032.
KRA also announced it was selling a TVS motorcycle (100CC) at Ksh30,000.
Other notable items were handbags, hair extensions, women's dresses, magazines and sandals.

"Place your bid by simply logging in with your KRA PIN and iTax password on the auction platform: ibid.kra.go.ke," KRA advised.
