This comes less than a week after the Nursing Council of Kenya announced a re-sit opportunity for candidates who were unsuccessful in the August 2025 licensure examination.
In that earlier notice, the Council stated that affected candidates would be allowed to retake the exam between February 17 and 20, 2026.
At the time, the Council explained that the application window for the February 2026 re-sit examination would run from November 10 to December 31, 2025. It urged eligible candidates to prepare and submit their applications within the stipulated period.
NCK also indicated that further details and guidelines regarding the re-sit process would be communicated through its official platforms.
Subsequently, the Nursing Council also issued guidelines for successful candidates on collecting their certificates. In a separate notice dated December 5, the NCK outlined the requirements for collecting the certificates.
Candidates who pass the examination are required to present themselves in person at NCK offices with the specified documentation.
The mandatory requirements include an original identity card or passport, as well as a valid NCK practice license.
