American pop star Madonna extended his African tour to Kenya over the weekend.

In a series of Instagram photos and videos, Madonna shared her experience in Pokot and Samburu where she mingled with the local communities. 

The singer was previously in Malawi on a charity tour.

“Spending time with the Samburu tribe is always an honor. They are nomadic warriors and here the men are singing, dancing, and telling stories to attract the attention of the females,” she posted. 

“Visiting the Pokot Tribe in the Baringo Valley was a special moment for all of us. They invited us to dance with them and shared their daily prayer of thanks,” Madonna added. 


While in Malawi, Madonna opened a dance academy through her charity organization Raising Malawi.

Madonna has 6 children, 4 of whom are adopted from Malawi.

This is the second time the pop star was in the country have visited in 2016. 

The Material Girl singer, who is currently the Goodwill Ambassador for Child Welfare visited Kibera where she carried out charity activities.
