President William Ruto on Tuesday, August 22 rocked a traditional Maasai outfit during the inaugural Maasai cultural week in Narok County.
In a statement via Twitter, the Head of State said that culture is an integral part of the country's story and brings together Kenyans from diverse backgrounds.
“Our traditions are an integral part of our story. Celebrating our rich culture brings Kenyans from diverse backgrounds together,” Ruto stated.
He also noted that the authenticity of the Maasai culture is the foundation of cultural tourism in the country.
