The colourful ceremony saw the attendance of who's who in the Kenya Kwanza government.

President William Ruto was among the chief guests at the wedding of his younger sibling David Ruto Samoei. 

David was officially getting betrothed to Carol Kitur. 

The event on Friday, December 16, at Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club in Nyeri saw the attendance of high ranking government officials trailing the President.

In the company of the president, was First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto and their eldest son Nick Ruto who was also in the company of his fiance. 

Others were CSs, among them Roads and Transport's Kipchumba Murkomen.

David Ruto wedded Carol Kitur in a colourful wedding in Nyeri.

Politicians allied to the president were also in attendance.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Nandi governor Stephen Sang, his Nyeri counterpart Mutahi Kahiga and Senator Wahome Wamatinga, among others, were part of the guests.
