Steve Thompson Maghana, alias Oga Obinna, has offered former Citizen TV journalist Kimani Mbugua a job after his full recovery after rehabilitation.
During an interview on Monday, December 16, Mbugua was offered a job as a show host on Obinna TV.
The former Citizen TV journalist will begin his new role in January 2025.
"There is a show and a department that I would like you (Kimani) to spearhead. You have a job in January. We shall reconvene in mid-January or early February to see what is happening," Obinna announced.

On the other hand, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, through a statement on Tuesday, November 17, announced that former NTV journalist Eunice Omollo would resume her career in journalism at K24.
The exact position she is taking up is yet to be known.
"Both Eunice and Mbugua are fully recovered and ready to face the world and begin a new life. Several months ago, their respective journeys were marked by serious struggles," read the statement in part.
"Eunice is set to begin a new role at K24 TV."
Meanwhile, Sonko also revealed that boxing star Contestina Achieng would be discharged from Mombasa Women Rehabilitation Centre this week after her full recovery.
