Amina Abdi Rabar has announced the end of her stint at NTV.
The television presenter has been the host of The Trend Show, NTV's segment of entertainment content, lifestyle, and social commentary that airs every Friday evening.
She took over the show from CNN journalist Larry Madowo who left in 2017.
Amina's last appearance on The Trend was on Friday evening, September 5, when he informed the audience and her fellow The Trend Trending Talk (TTTT) panelists of the end of her stay at the Nation Media Group (NMG) owned station.
""This is the last time I get to sign out on TTTT, my name is Amina Abdi Rabar. This was my last show," she said as her colleagues reacted in bewilderment.

Amina assured her heartbroken colleagues that she was indeed leaving after they argued she was playing a prank on them.
The presenter also took the chance to appreciate her fans for the support they accorded her throughout her stint.
"I am not lying. Thank you so much to all for the love. Thanks to all of you for welcoming to your homes, I appreciate. Thank you to all the panellists and other hosts I have had her," she said.
Amina, who joined NTV coming from the Mediamax-owned K24 TV, did not disclose where next she was headed.
Besides Mediamax and NMG, Amina also had a run with Capital FM where she hosted a breakfast show.
At K24, the presenter was hosting a breakfast programme named Alfajiri, when NMG went for her as the latter sought to fill the big shoes left behind by Larry.
Over the years, she has proved her ability to blend into the audience and fanbase left by Larry.
Amina, a quintessential media personality, wears many hats.
Besides being a radio and television host, the 36-year-old is also a singer, a songwriter, MC, actress and events facilitator.
