The old adage has been given credence and impetus by Tanzania singer and businesswoman Hamisa Mobetto and American rapper and Maybach record executive Rick Ross.

Mobetto is famed for being the baby mama of Tanzanian superstar Nasibu Abdul Juma, alias Diamond Platnumz.
Diamond has once featured Rick Ross in a music collaboration christened Waka Waka which earned him a nomination into BET Awards.
The videos, which have been uploaded on their respective Insta Stories, depict a tale of love between the two.
Like two lovebirds having the best moments of their lives, the Tanzanian singer and Rick Ross are captured dancing together closely with the American singer giving her a peck on her cheeks in one of the videos.
Not forgetting the smiles on their faces, the two have left their fans with little doubt that theirs is just a typical camaraderie.

The relationship between the two was first discovered after the American rapper became a regular at the comment section of Mobetto's Instagram posts.
It is from there that the two once said they hit each other's inbox afterwards and built a friendship that has culminated into the latest developments.
In September, during an interview with Tanzania's media personality Omary Tambwe, popularly known as Lil Ommy, the record executive said his relationship with Mobetto is based on business.
He noted that he would wish to take her business to another level though he did not rule out chances of love brewing between them.
"I have to be honest, there is a connection, how much do you want me to tell you about it? I'm gonna leave that to her. So, I want you to make sure you do an interview with her," he said.
He also described her as the epitome of beauty adding that her entrepreneurial spirit is on another
"She is such a beautiful person, beautiful spirit and she is a huge entrepreneur and I want to help her take it to the next level because she is doing a great job and I'm proud of her," he added.
In response to the comments, Mobetto took to her Instagram page and wrote: ""Awwww I'm Truly honoured..... Thank you ????@richforever I appreciate the Love ??, See You soon".
Mobetto after parting with Diamond has gone under on her romantic relationship and this is the first time she is sharing intimate moments with a man in public after breaking up with the Tanzanian superstar.
